01 — ABOUT

Precision at the pixel, discipline in the architecture.

I've spent the last 12+ years building iOS apps in Swift, SwiftUI and Objective-C — secure, scalable, and obsessively user-centered. My work has shipped to millions of moviegoers, bank customers moving real money, and farmers running mission-critical operations from a tractor cab.

Demanding domains taught me that craft and rigor aren't opposites. I care equally about clean architecture and the 200ms of spring animation that makes a screen feel alive. Give me a hard problem — offline sync, real-time data viz, StoreKit revenue flows — and I'll ship it with tests, instrumentation, and UI that respects the user.

Outside of work I build ambitious projects of my own: a multiplayer dominoes game with real-time voice chat, and a 3D language-learning platform. Shipping my own products keeps me honest about what "done" really means.

  • iOS engineer on Fandango — the mass-consumer movie-ticketing app. Swift, SwiftUI.
  • Migrating parts of the app to SwiftUI and building new surfaces such as an App Clip.
  • Internationalizing the app for new markets; AI-assisted development with Claude Code.

Double-Nine Dominoes

The idea: authentic 2v2 Latin/Caribbean double-nine dominoes — the full 55-tile set with real rules: capicúa, tranque, pollona. The version my family actually plays, done right.

The hard part: premium tactile visuals, the satisfying "chapa" slam animation, and real-time voice chat over WebRTC — custom animation, live networking and game feel working as one.

The idea: a CEFR-aligned English-learning game set on a low-poly 3D archipelago — each island a level, with spaced repetition driving retention and verifiable certificates at the end.

The hard part: product ambition outside the Apple stack — 3D rendering on the web, a spaced-repetition engine, and credentialing that people can trust.
